Pastor Terri Landers
I have been a rostered leader and pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) for the past nine years. I love the Lord with all of my heart.
It took me 10 years to complete my education that would prepare me for the parish life. I graduated, Magnum Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University. I then earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I completed a Lutheran Year of Studies at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Prior to moving to the Augusta, GA area, I served as a pastor at Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church in Richmond Hill, GA and Forks Zion Lutheran Church in Leechburg, Pennsylvania. While in Augusta, GA I completed a one-year chaplain residency program at the Veterans Medical Center in Augusta, GA, where I was nominated Chaplain Resident of the year.
I am so happy and delighted to be at St. Stephen’s ELCA where the Holy Spirit is present! I have been married to my husband, Bob for 39 years. We have four children and two grandchildren and reside in Hickory, NC.
