Our Mission:
St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church ELCA is a family that together prays, teaches, loves, and serves God and our neighbor.
Everything we do flows from this mission statement. Whether it is worship, learning, service, or other outreach ministries, everything we do is rooted in this statement about who we believe God is calling us to be in this place and time for the sake of the world around us. The church is focused outward in mission rather than being self-centered and focused on only ourselves. The church is not a country club for saints- it is a field hospital for sinners and a laboratory for faith development so that we can be empowered to be Christ’s body out in the world!
